Registration & Payment
Thank you for choosing Santa María Expeditions. Please complete the following steps to confirm your reservation.
Step 1 – Reserve Your Adventure
Group Hikes
For scheduled group hikes, full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise stated.
Private Tours & Private Hikes
A reservation deposit of MXN $1,000 per reserved day is required to secure your dates.
Examples:
1-day private hike/tour: MXN $1,000 deposit
2-day private hike/tour: MXN $2,000 deposit
4-day private hike/tour: MXN $4,000 deposit
Reservations are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
Step 2 – Payment Options
We accept the following payment methods:

Cash Deposit
Cash deposits may be made at any BBVA branch or participating OXXO location.
Other Payment Methods
We also accept other payment methods upon request. Please contact us before making your reservation if you would like to pay using another method.
Step 3 – Send Your Proof of Payment
After making your payment, send a copy of your receipt or transfer confirmation to:

If your payment covers multiple participants, each participant must complete a separate registration form and attach the same proof of payment (group hikes only).
Step 4 – Complete the Registration Form
Complete the registration form at the bottom of this page and click Submit. Your reservation will be confirmed after we verify both your registration and payment. Please allow 24–36 hours to receive your confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please check your spam or junk folder.
Payment Schedule
For private tours and private hikes, the remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start of your adventure. If payment has not been received by the deadline, Santa María Expeditions may attempt to contact you. However, it is the participant's responsibility to ensure payment is received on time. Reservations that remain unpaid by 24 hours before the scheduled start may be cancelled without further notice, and the reserved dates may be released to other clients.
Cancellation Policy
Scheduled Group Hikes
Unless otherwise stated, payments for scheduled group hikes are non-refundable.
Private Tours & Private Hikes
Deposit refunds are based on when the cancellation request is received:
More than 30 days before the scheduled start: 100% of the deposit will be refunded.
15–30 days before the scheduled start: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
14 days or less before the scheduled start: No refund of the deposit will be issued.
Any remaining balance that has already been paid beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded when applicable.
Changes, Weather & Safety
Santa María Expeditions reserves the right to modify routes, itineraries, schedules, or activities whenever necessary for the safety of participants or guides. Changes may result from, but are not limited to:
Severe weather
Flooded rivers
Landslides
Wildfires
Dangerous trail conditions
Public safety concerns
Road closures
Other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
Whenever possible, we will offer an alternative route or itinerary of comparable quality. If Santa María Expeditions cancels an adventure before it begins and no suitable alternative can be provided, all payments made to Santa María Expeditions will be refunded in full.
Participant Responsibilities
By registering, you acknowledge that:
You are physically capable of participating in the selected adventure.
You understand the risks associated with outdoor activities.
You will provide accurate medical information relevant to your participation.
You agree to follow all instructions provided by your guides.
You understand that your reservation is not confirmed until payment has been received and approved.
